Private Pilot: Ground I (HAV1021B)

This course is the first part of a three-part series designed to prepare student pilots to pass their FAA knowledge and oral private pilot exams. Students who do not intend to become pilots but wish to learn more about aviation may also enroll in this course. However, they should not expect to be adequately prepared for the FAA exams if they do not complete the entire three-part series in sequence. This course will introduce students to airplane components, aerodynamics, aircraft engines, electrical systems, flight instruments, and Federal Aviation Regulations. The curriculum for this course was created by Rod Machado, a world-renown, veteran ground and flight instructor with over 8,000 hours of experience as an instructor. The course is presented in a user-friendly, conversational manner and spiced with humor. With a quarter century of teaching experience, Mr. Machado's tried-and-true methods of instruction have achieved exceptional results with thousands of students. He has the unique ability to simplify the difficult and his humor helps students remember each lesson.

Note
