Computer Requirements - A Note for Chromebook Users
Students will require a Windows (Windows 8 or Windows 10 - 64 bit versions only) or Mac (versions 10.9 or newer) computer to complete the course. Chromebook users will not be able to run all the software utilized in this course. Chromebooks can still be used for accessing the online course curriculum and communicating with the instructor.
This course uses the Unity game design engine which is supplemented with the C# programming language. Computer requirements for the Unity game engine can be found here. Students must have a semester of previous experience in a programming language to be successful. NDCDE recommends starting with Foundations of Programming (HCO1251B), if a pre-requisite is needed.
